Dominican Airline Arajet Transported 550,000 Passengers in 2023

Dominican low-cost airline Arajet transported more than 550,000 passengers across the region in 2024, the company recently announced.

The Santo Domingo-based carrier stated that it plans continue adding more destinations throughout 2024 and has set a goal of transporting some 1.5 million passengers this year.

Arajet named Paraguay, Uruguay, and Bolivia as three locations that it hopes to bring into its network this year and added that it is awaiting approval from the US Department of Transportation before it can start flying to the world’s largest market.

“Arajet in 2023 had demonstrate its commitment and loyalty to the democratization of the region skies, and in 2024 we will continue to increase frequencies in the markets that need more Arajet presence,” said Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet.
